My tiny-miny H turned 3 years old this week! “I’m a big girl now,” is what she says. And this big girl wanted a ‘Dora’ party this year. Soon, this excited mommy started planning the ‘Dora the Explorer’ party. All this might sound over the top to many, but I find immense joy in all the madness associated with ideating, planning and watching all the efforts coming together into an evening full of fun, laughter and happy faces!

10 Unique ways to display family photos
![Photo Display Ideas: Family Photo Clock](https://mutterntochter.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/clock1.jpg?w=579&h=1024)
I attach a lot of value to memories. And the easiest way to freeze the memories forever is photos.
At my home, major decoration happens with photos. From family portraits to our travel clicks, you’ll find the best of them adorning one or the other nook or accessory at my home. Not only the pictures add beauty but solve another purpose. Thanks to them, Baby H constantly gets to see and know her extended family (grand pa, granny, uncles, aunts & cousins), that lives in a different city.
The photo gallery that I recently added to my home is this ‘Family Time Photo Wall Clock.’ Though it was a tedious job (the clock like placement called for a lots of calculation) to get it done on a big bare wall but the final outcome was worth all the effort. It is one of the favourite spots for Baby H. Every now and then you can spot her standing in front of the photos and remembering her Tatha (GrandPa), Ajji (Granny) & Nani.
With that addition, let’s take a look at some more interesting ways to display your family photos at home…

Whacky Party Idea: H’s First Tooth Party
Yes! We had a bash when H had cut her first tooth!
It was a small get together at our terrace with just a few friends and their kids. It began as just a thought in my mind to celebrate every milestone that H achieves, including her first tooth and I totally loved the way it turned out. In fact, every one loved the thought and execution. 🙂 A pat on my back as for everything starting from conceptualizing to execution, I was at the helm of things ( 😉 Modesty, what’s that… eh?). Right from banner and decor to party favors and food…every thing was DIY.
