Ryan International School’s Children’s Festival of Performing Arts 2016 ends at a high!

Ryan 7The four day long cultural extravaganza called Children’s Festival of Performing Arts 2016 (ICFPA 2016) organised by Ryan International School finally concluded this Sunday on a high note.

A global event for children focused on ‘Celebrating Diversity’ hosted participants coming in from 17 countries across the world. The high energy event began with a theatrical parade with national and international participants spreading the message of Peace and Harmony.

Ryan 6These young global ambassadors dressed in colourful costumes of their respective nations aimed aimed at creating a world without violence, hatred and war started of from Ryan Global School, Andheri. Spreading the light, singing together and shouting the slogans for a Peaceful World, the parade was a treat to watch!

Day 4 of the ICFPA 2016 offered high levels of entertainment and fun at Mumbai’s St.Andrews Auditorium. The day kick-started with International performances by New Experience Theatre, Iran and Arab Origami Center & Ibn Danyal Theater Group, Egypt.

Students from Ryan International School, Sanpada set the stage afire next with folk dances from various states of India. While the foot tapping Bhojpuri number ‘Chalat musafir moh lio re pinjre wali muniya’ set the tone of an entertaining afternoon, girls clad in Haryanvi attire dancing to ‘Mujhe naulakha manga de re’ made everyone join in the revelry.

Ryan 2Complimenting the Indian kids came the International performances by Kolskeggur, Iceland, Theatre Pragya, Nepal and Rhodes Park School Drama Club, Zambia. All in all, the afternoon was well executed and entertaining melange of colours, cultures and values.
