1 Medium sized carrot
1 Cups Milk
2 Tablespoons Sugar
Cardamom powder: a pinch
Almonds powder – Half a teaspoon.
Wash, peel and grate the carrot as thin as you can in the grater.
Peel the apple and grate it too.
In a pan keep milk to boil. Add sugar and grated carrot and let it cook till the carrot becomes soft. Once the carrots are cooked in milk add grated apple and let it cook on a low flame for 5 minutes.
At the end add cardamom and garnish with dry-fruits if you are serving to adults or grown ups. (I added almonds powder).
Your carrot & apple kheer is ready!
