Recently, I got a hamper of wipes from Kara for review. The hamper contained their entire range of wipes including: Kara Baby Cleansing wipes, Kara Hand sanitizing wipes, Kara Refresh Wipes, Kara Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes and Kara Sunscreen Wipes.
Here’s my experience with their Baby Cleansing Wipes with Chamomile Extract:
Claim: They claim to be 100% natural, alcoholfree and biodegradable. They cleanse, hydrate, nourish, disinfects and deodorizesyour baby’s soft and sensitive skin.
Kara Wipes come in an opaque packaging with a opening at the center. The flip sticky-cover should be sealed after every use to keep the moisture in the wipes intact and not leave them dried. I missed the plastic flip lid, which comes in other brands. With a naughty kid around, a stick-cover can be pulled out any minute.
Now, coming to the wipe. It’ easy to pull out a single wipe from the pack. The wipe is pretty thick as compared to Mothercare wipes, which are thin and are needed in more numbers in case of a bigger mess. The chamomile smell is not overwhelming but just enough to leave you with a sweet smelling bottom. They are better moisturized (wet) as compared to Mothercare and Pampers. But a little more moisture will make it a better product. The wipe feels soft and smooth against the skin and didn’t cause any discomfort or allergy after a continuous use for 10 days.
Price: Rs.160 for a pack of 80 wipes
Will I buy: Yes, I don’t mind.
About other wipes from KARA:
Sunscreen wipes with plum and aloevera: SPF 20*. Though you cannot do away with your sunscreen if you use these but they claim to protect your skin from UVA and UVB Rays. Aloe Vera is anyday a good friend for the skin, plum extracts and Vit E will leave your skin moisturised.
Will I buy? Don’t think so. I’ll better use a sunscreen and go for the KARA deep pore cleansing wipe.
Price: Rs. 80 for 10 wipes
Kara Deep Pore Cleansing Wipe with Jojoba and Avocade extracts
They claim to clean the skin off dirt, grime and excess oil. Unclog the pores, detox and thoroughly exfoliate the dead skin cells.
Will I buy? Why not? May be for a mini-clean-up after a trip to the market!
Price: Rs.70 for a pack of 10
Kara Hand Sanitizing Wipes
I have been using them for quite long and totally satisfied with the clean hands feeling.
Price: Rs.30 for 10
Kara Refresh Facial Wipes
They come with a zing of mint and AloeVera. They claim to remove the dust and excess oil from the face and neck area. I quite liked the lingering minty smell.
Price: Rs.40 for 10.
